Kathleen Neil, MSN, PMHNP-BC

Kathleen is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who recently transitioned from a 22-year career as a Registered Nurse. She brings her extensive nursing experience, compassion, and dedication to providing comprehensive mental health care to diverse populations. Kathleen is committed to delivering holistic and patient-centered care that addresses both the mental and physical aspects of health. Kathleen earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Psychiatric-Mental Health from Wilkes University. She is proficient in conducting thorough psychiatric evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans and utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

With extensive nursing experience, Kathleen understands the complexities of healthcare and the vital importance of mental health. Eager to manage a wide range of psychiatric conditions, she is known for her empathetic approach and excellent communication skills. Her dedication to building strong therapeutic relationships fosters a supportive environment that encourages healing and growth.

In addition to her clinical practice, Kathleen is committed to continuing education and staying current with the latest advancements in psychiatric care. She is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, contributing to the ongoing improvement of mental health services.

Outside of work, Kathleen enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons, and three dogs, as well as reading, boating, and going to the gym. Her commitment to personal wellness reflects her belief in the importance of self-care for both patients and healthcare providers.
