Shamar Jenkins

Shamar Jenkins is a dedicated therapist specializing in social work. He earned his master’s degree from Oakland University, achieving an impressive 3.5 GPA. With a diverse background in the field, Shamar brings his unique perspective to his practice at Life Revival where he will demonstrate a continued commitment to supporting the well-being of his clients.

Shamar demonstrates exceptional skills in crisis management, maintaining order, and interacting professionally with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Prior to graduation, he worked as a dedicated and companionate caseworker in Detroit, MI, where he gained experience as well as a passion for working with individuals in underserved communities.

Shamar enjoys a variety of activities outside of work that keep him engaged and sharp. He loves working out, gaming, and reading, all of which contribute to his mental and physical well-being. Family and friends hold a special place in his heart, whether camping, traveling, or enjoying a beach day, he values those moments. Spending time in nature and immersing himself in its sounds, along with listening to great music, helps him stay grounded.

With a well-rounded background in counseling and social work, Shamar is enthusiastic about joining the team at Life Revival where he is poised to make a significant impact.
