Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Seeking Board certified Psychiatric Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner (PBHNP) to provide evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and management of behavioral health problems and psychiatric disorders in collaboration with the psychiatrist. Must possess prescriptive authority.

Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and evaluations.
Prescribes, monitors, and performs medication management with tasks including but not limited to monthly medication checks with clients to monitor symptoms and effectiveness of medication.
Orders, evaluates, and interprets diagnostic procedures, laboratory studies and therapeutic interventions to assess the patients’ clinical problems and health care needs.
Educate clients, family members and care providers about medical issues, diagnostic studies and procedures, prescribed medications / treatment.
